Advanced NDT Techniques

  • Pulsed Eddy Current (PEC): For the detection of corrosion areas in carbon and low alloy steels. Measurements are taken through any non-conductive material e.g. insulation, protective coatings, concrete and marine growth.
  • Advanced UT: Time of Flight Defraction (ToFD) & Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT) are techniques that can be used to detect defects and defect sizing in welding.
